Holding the drill in your left hand pull out sufficient strap to go around the object you are drilling |
Pull the strap around the outside strap post under the retainer pin. |

| Slide the strap around the long leg of the ratchet shaft and take up the slack in the strap. |
Move your right hand to the drill handle and with the left hand operate the ratchet handle until the dill point is pressed on your mark. Start the drill while simultaneously applying pressure with the ratchet. |

| You now have very precise control of the pressure on the drill bit. Complete the hole(Don't drill thru the strap) and push the release handle to release the tension on the strap. |
Reposition and repeat the operation for multiple holes or rewind the strap on the storage spool.
